Situated in La Jolla, California, this seaside craftsman-style home was built by Wardell Builders.
Description by Wardell Builders Warm, welcoming comfort is at the heart of this craftsman-style home that overlooks the La Jolla Cove. From the moment you step into the cottage-inspired front yard and sit in front of the cobblestone fireplace you can’t help but feel at home. Fond memories of summers at a Wisconsin Lake home were the driving force behind the design of this home from the twin-sized porch swing to a bunkroom that can sleep seven with the custom a bunk bed. The stained glass windows, vintage farm table, and walnut floors give the home the feeling it has been here for years even though it is all new construction down to the foundation. Wicker furnishings, distressed woods, and stripped patterns add a fresh coastal feel to the eclectic furnishings. The light filled open floor plan takes advantage of the sweeping ocean views. Accordion doors fold open along the back of the house melding the indoor and outdoor living spaces. The dramatic views can be best enjoyed from the rustic outdoor gazebo built with willow and cedar branches. Brady Architectural Photography Visit Wardell Builders
